Principal – Creative Director
Graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design from Iowa State University in 1990, Tim has been involved in designing marketing communications for 24 years. From his first position as the Art Director for a Research Consortium to his position as the Associate Design Director for a nationally recognized higher education marketing firm, Tim has worked with a variety of organizations across the nation designing creative marketing campaigns.
In addition to consulting in Seattle, Tim has worked as a Senior User-interface Designer for Amazon.com and has created interactive designs and performed user-interface consulting for Microsoft and other local companies. In 2002, Tim graduated from the University of Washington with an MS in Human-Centered Design and Engineering. While completing this degree he gained a valuable understanding of the importance of usability when designing human/computer interfaces.
Tim’s work has been published in numerous trade publications including Print Magazine, and The Best of Brochure Design – Volumes 3, 5 and 8.
